I would have to agree with some of what has been said here, although some seems to be a bit harsh both towards the generations X and Y.

I myself has had little motivation from my parents to get a job and work hard. Everything has been handed to me, and I do believe this has left me with little skills for when I do actually enter the workforce.

In saying this I do believe the reason to why I have not been encouraged or forced to go out and work is because my parents would rather me stay in school, study and get a good education as well as allowing me to join in with sports and other activities.
