Edging towards the finish line… neck and neck with a rival country.. Inching towards a gold medal, when the roar of the crowd is deafening...and your heart is pounding. The rush we get from this moment is priceless, or is it?
Is it worth 150 Million Dollars? I think not.
Is the Olympics just a big poodle parade to show off who has the most talent? It’s not all a bad thing I must say, and I think we always learn a lot about the country that host it, but I agree we don’t have much talent in the invention department. We need to start putting our money into productive things. There is a fine line, people live for the Olympics, they train their whole lives for this event I think that is why it is such an emotion event. It show's discipline and honour for our country. So yes I think we do spend a lot of money on sports, when possibly one day, if we don’t invest our money into important things like medical research or even ways to stop climate change.
