It is ironic that this article was posted, as it is highly commended that sport is a part of our life and culture.
Australia is praised world wide for its ability to produce amazing athletes in every sport on a world scale.
Why is it now we begin to examine the cost and harship they go through to bring honour and glory for US, they represent AUSTRALIA not just themselves. Isnt that the dream of so many young people to be a famous athlete winning at the olympics?
They endure so much pain and hardship just to reach the dream.
In my opinion no matter what the cost we should all follow our dreams and strive for the best.
