I believe that Muslims are no different to Christians or buddists or any other religious tyranny. There are good and bad of every religion. There are fundamentalist Muslims and Christians that make supporting that religion very difficult. I have met bad and good in every race and religion.
Some of my best friends are of the muslim faith and I don't have a problem with how they live their lives. They believe in Allah, Christians believe in Jesus. A different name for the same person more or less.
Me, I don't believe in religion at all. I believe it is a means of control of people. Far too many people die in the name of religion and people like George W Bush use religion as a means to invade and steal from peoples lands like he also has with September 11 attacks in New York.

I agree with you Janice. Religion is a means to control people. But it is also important to realise that to an extent, people need to be controlled. We like to think that people are free-willed and make their own way through life, but we're not, and we don'. People need order. They need to be told what to do and how to do it. It is human nature. It could be argued that politics should be thrown away because that is also a means of controlling people. It could be argued that Laws should be destroyed because they are also a means to control people. There is no Utopia where we all live happy, free will lives. People need to be controlled or all civilisation will fall and we will be hairless monkeys. Imagine a world where everybody did what they wanted.
