I must say, as a first world nation, we haven't come very far in terms of racial equality. Black people are still getting dragged behind trucks, Germans are still being called hitlarians and Muslims, well they are just the coming apocalypse!
I saw an epidose of Law and Order: SVU last night. It was about US intelligence torturing suspected terrorists to get information. One guy died as a result from the stress. Anyway, he and his family were granted immigration rights to America because he helped fighting in the Gulf war.
911 happens and suddenly every muslim is a terorist. Where is everyone's common sense? We are supposed to be a thriving nation built on multiculturalism. And our generation is one to be proud of: "WE GREW HERE YOU FLEW HERE". I'm sure our forefathers would be proud.
No seriously, the sins of the father should not fall heavily on the son. Every person has rights as a human being and one of them is not to be persecurted because of their race or religion.

I totally agree. Everyone should be judged on their own behaviour, merits etc. In an ideal world people would be free to be their best selves without jealousy, judgement and hate.
Maybe things will change.
