Free Tibet, free Speech. These things seem to be a myth.

Free Tibet, free Speech. These things seem to be a myth.

Seven’s story keeps changing; let alone the shift of blame, this is proof that there are holes in the story, meaning it is a load of bull.
Seven being the official coverage network for the Olympics, had a chance to be the loudest voice for the important message that GetUp was promoting.
Censorship is only showing that we can not voice our opinions freely.
We are not a communist country and we have the right to voice what we feel.
Seven proved fence sitting is a much greater importance than displaying an important message about human rights!
The Chinese government claimed human rights would improve in Tibet and China if Beijing won the right to host the 2008 Olympics. Instead of improving, the human rights situation in Tibet has deteriorated. As Beijing counted down to the Opening Ceremony, the Chinese government was already punishing Tibetans for daring to call for freedom.
Director of Free Tibet Campaign, said: “We have seen the deterioration of human rights in Tibet directly as a result of China staging the Games. Huge areas of Tibet deemed likely to protest during the Olympics, such as Kandze and Ngaba, are currently under military lockdown with checkpoints and curfews making movement in and out of the towns practically impossible.”
Freedom is the issue. This sad fact shows that we do not have a chance to talk about it as a country.
