Generation Y

Generation Y
I am a generation Y and I do not agree on everything that was mentioned in the Slacker Generation blog, there are people who are in the generation y category and who would like to work and study. It takes time to save money, it can take years. In early 1990's it was easier to find and stay in employment for a number of years.
Now these days, it is more competitive, people who are generation y can also spend a lot of time looking for work and not get any responses back from the employer, this can be frustrating at times for some when you spend a lot of hours been prepared for the interview and then not get any feedback from the employer.
These days it is hard to afford a mortgage, it takes many years to pay off the mortgage, interest rates do go up. Why make it harder on us. Everything is expensive, we do need employment, if we would like to have nice houses and cars and of course have money to afford food, nice clothes and shoes.
