No Add No Free Speech

Channels Seven has definitely put their foot in their mouth this time. By not running an add that was fully paid for and was in contract they have demolished the freedom of speech.

Channel Seven is silencing those they choose to silence. Is it because the don't believe in the add being ran? Channel seven needs to explain it's actions. What if you want to run an add on channel seven and it doesn't go ahead because they choose not too?

With all the censorship happening in China, was channel seven pressured into not running the advertisement by China? As far as I'm concerned an add that is fully paid for and signed in contract the add is by law entitled to be advertised. If channel seven did not want to run the add in the first place they should have declined the initial offer and send the advertisement somewhere else, but now that have profited for an advertisement that has not been ran their credibility, reputation and trust is in jeopardy. Might I add a possible law suit.

Channel Seven better 'Get Up or Get Out'.

Channel Seven probably didn't run the ad because they didn't want to offend the Chinese or mix politics with the Olympics. Actually who knows. It could have been an oversight like they said. But I doubt it.

But I also think that the pro Tibet side of the arguement has got a lot of free air time. Now it is time for the other side to be heard.
