Over the past 20 years, Internet has become a part of almost every home in western society, and with the Internet came pornography. What used to be confined to magazines and the bedroom is now accessable with just the click of a mouse. Not only do the men of today have video porn, but they can watch women of any race, age or sexual preference at any time of the day. A picture of a topless girl in Playboy 30 years ago seems G rated when compared to the 8 person orgies available on the net today.
The problem with men having all of this virtual sex is that when it comes to having real sex they have extremely high expectations. Expectations that real women simply cannot compete with. Most real women don't have plastic breasts, and perfectly tanned bodies, and brazilian waxes, and believe it or not...most real women do not orgasm within 2 seconds of penetration! So of men are learning how to have sex from porn, how will they perform when it comes to the real thing?
30 years ago a willing naked woman, with natural breasts and pubic hair would be considered a turn on, but porn has set new standards for how a woman must look and act in order to be sexy. Today a lot of young women are trying to conform to looking like porn stars, and are even having sex like porn stars, in a desperate attempt to regain the attention of the men in their lives.
If sex has become a choreographed act and men and women are both trying to have sex like porn stars, how will any couple ever have true intimacy? In my opinion the only way to get our sex lives back on track is to switch off the porn... Men need to stop comparing the women in their lives to those on their screens, and women need to stop comparing themselves to porn stars.
