I have always thought that barbie was an evil caniving bitch but this blog proves it.From its humble beginings as it took insparation from a German prostitiute doll to its modern incarnation as a stero typical "Dumb Blonde" aka Paris Hilton, barbie certaintly has a lot to answer for. I do believe that barbie does promote low self-esteem. I have actually talked to people who feel they need to put a ton of make on and wear revealing clothes to look "hot". I find it disgusting that little girls wear clothes their idol barbie wears. Surely the makers of barbie should realise that they would make more money if they make a doll that showed how smart and beautiful girls can be without showing the world what they ate for breakfast. I don't believe that the makers of barbie will make a doll such as I have suggested because they are to greedy and they have no social conscience but all that means is that parents should stop posioning their children by buying stupid little dolls that promote bad eating habits and poor self esteem

I would like to point out a few spelling and grammatical errors in your blog. The letter ‘I’ when referring to self is always in upper case. The word Barbie is a proper noun and is supposed to begin with a capital letter. The same is true for German. The correct spellings of the errors seen in your blog response are conniving, beginnings, inspiration, prostitute, stereotypical (one word), certainly and poisoning. Some of these seem to be typos.
